DEVELOPING A NEW ECOMMERCE PLATFORM
During our stakeholder interview, we noticed that getting proper recommendations for medicinal cannabis has always been very tough, especially to inexperienced users having trouble finding an exact cannabis remedy they prefer and also getting the right education about it. After doing proper research, we found out there was NO platform out there offering such, and since stores retailing cannabis are mostly illegal, making it difficult for users who are too afraid to ask getting the help they needed. This made the project a little daunting but exciting.
To guide our decision-making process, the personas were created since there were several users of the platform with different needs.
Based on our understanding and findings from stakeholder research and competitor analysis, we came up with the following user stories
The user flow was designed completely to reflect the user needs, rather than that of the product itself, this means we neglected aesthetic for usability.
Users are able to get recommendations and find locations as easy as possible.
We finished up the design in no time due to having a proper understanding with the stakeholders and what they wanted.
